Join us for the closing ceremony of Nuuk International Film Festival 2026, featuring the presentation of the NIFF Jury Award – the festival’s main competition award.

This year’s jury brings together three voices from Greenland’s film and creative community, each bringing their own perspective, experience and connection to storytelling.

Together, they will select the winner of the NIFF Jury Award 2026 from the films selected for this year’s main competition.

MEET THE 2026 JURY

Klaus Georg Hansen, born in 1961, is a film producer and consultant with a background in anthropology. Since 2023, he has been the owner of KGH Productions. From 2019–2026, he served as Chair of Film.gl, focusing on the establishment of the Greenland Film Institute. His credits include line producer on Qaqqat Alannguit (Greenland, 2011), co-producer on Oqaluttuap Akia (Czech Republic/Greenland, 2024), and production manager on We Have to Survive (Slovakia, 2026).

Aili Liimakka Laue is Head of Secretariat at EPI - Greenland’s Artists Council, where she works closely with artists across all fields, including the film community through Film.gl. She has extensive experience in Greenlandic cultural and artistic life and brings a broad perspective on Greenlandic storytelling, creativity and culture.”

Liam F. Rosbach has had a strong interest in film throughout his life and grew up in a family with a shared love of cinema. Film has always played an important role for him — as entertainment, an art form, and a way of telling stories and creating emotions. Through his work, he has been involved in film, television, and media in Greenland, with experience in sound, technical work, and coordination on both Greenlandic and international productions. After several years in the film and media industry, he has also begun developing his own film projects and is currently working on his first feature film project, No Way Out.
